Woodturning Competition

Back by popular demand, the Get Woodworking Live 2011 Turning Competition.

There will be two categories; Prestige and Amateur, which will be judged on the Saturday by our panel of judges: Les Thorne, Richard Raffan and Jennie Starbuck.

We have some excellent prizes that have kindly been donated by our sponsors:

	1st prize – 5 Day turning Course in France First prize will include a Woodturning / Painting / Photography course. That includes 5 half days of expert tuition. The prize includes 6 days at the Moulin de la Materette, including bed and breakfast and evening meal for the prize winner and partner. Donated by:

Rules for the Woodturning Competition at Get Woodworking Live 2010

1. There will be two categories:
   1. Enthusiast: - for those who have never been placed in a turning competition before
   2. Prestige: - Open to anyone, including those who have won competitions in the past.
      • All entries must be registered and on display by 1 o clock on Saturday
2. Each turned item will cost £2.00 to enter (All money collected will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital)
3. Small entries will be accepted by post; however cost must be met by sender for items return. ( please insure your items while in transit)
4. Judging will take place throughout the day on Saturday 13th March winners will be announced on Sunday 14th March at 3.15
5. All prizes are as described in our advertisements, as they are donated, my hobby store Ltd can not be held responsible in the event of cancelation or withdrawal of any of the said prizes.

Ticket Holder Prize Draw

This year all ticket holders to the show have the opportunity to go into the Get Woodworking Live 2011 prize draw.

Simply fill out a form near the entrance and you go into the draw. We have some excellent prizes that have kindly been donated by our sponsors:
