Richard Raffan

Richard Raffan is a world-famous woodturner whose bowls and boxes have been in major collections worldwide since 1973.

As a teacher he has featured at over 600 symposiums and workshops in a dozen countries. Thousands of woodturners learned their craft from his classic woodturning books and videos. “Now semi-retired, I teach a bit, create work for exhibitions, not all of which is turned, and canoe or sail when I can.”

Richard lives in Canberra, Australia.
